Timeline

The Diplomacy Week will take place from March 5th-11th, 2018. To catch a glimpse of the week that is awaiting you, here is a preliminary timeline.

 

Monday, March 5th, 2018

 

7.30pm - Conference by Laurent Maruani - T206
The Diplomacy Week launching evening will feature a talk by former political adviser and professor Laurent Maruani on the topic of the strategic and economic perspectives of emerging countries. It will be open to everyone on campus. 

 

Tuesday, March 6th, 2018

7pm - Workshop and Q&A - T205

Workshop on how to be the best delegate in the room and Q&A on Model United Nations rules of procedure - with members of MUNHEC. Exclusively for registrated participants. 

 

Wednesday, March 7th, 2018

8pm - Workshop - T206

Workshop on debating and public Speaking - with HEC professor Justin Stults. Exclusively for registrated participants.

Thursday, March 8th, 2018

11.30am - Workshop - T206

Workshop on strategic negotiations - with former RAID negotiator Laurent Combalbert. Exclusively for registrated participants.

Friday, March 9th, 2018

 

5.30pm - Workshop - T206

A catch-up session of the debating workshop for registrated participants.

7.30pm - Opening Ceremony and Conference by Manar Taleb - Amphi Blondeau

The opening ceremony of the MUN will feature a talk by former UN diplomat Manar Taleb on his experience as a diplomat and the future of multilateral negotiation as a way of solving conflicts. It will be open to everyone on campus.

Saturday, March 10th, 2018 - Sunday, March 11th, 2018
 

The MUN will cover the two days, with a Closing ceremony and cocktail on Sunday evening. See the timeline of the MUN for more details!
